A disengaged employee is 18 percent less productive, 16 percent less profitable to the company and experiences 37 percent less job growth. Aside from productivity, a disengaged employee is also 37 percent more likely to call off, 49 percent more likely to cause an accident and 60 percent more likely to have errors or cause defects.
